For hospice families

Tell your hospice about Honest Funeral

If a hospice is caring for someone you love — or cared for them — you can ask them to offer Honest Funeral to every family they serve. Below is a short note for your bereavement coordinator or social worker, already written.

It sends from your own email, in your own name — nothing on this page goes out from Honest Funeral on its own. We reach out to a hospice only when a family asks us to below, and we contact you only if you check the box. None of this is required — everything here is already free for you, with or without a hospice.

Subject: A free funeral-cost resource for the families you serve

I'd like to pass along Honest Funeral (https://honestfuneral.co) — a free, independent site that shows families what a funeral should cost in their area and checks any funeral price list for overcharges.

It's free for every family: it's funded by the institutions it partners with, takes no money from funeral homes or insurers, and never steers anyone toward any particular funeral home.

It seems like something your bereavement team could offer families after a death, alongside the support you already provide.

If it looks useful, how it works for hospices is at https://honestfuneral.co/partners.

The “To” line is blank on purpose — you add the person you know. This note goes out from your email app, never from Honest Funeral.

Rather not send it yourself?

Tell us the hospice — introductions come from our founder, personally. You’re never mentioned, and we’ll only contact you if you check the box.
